Fulbright Visting Scholar Program Alumna Publishes the ‘Banking Management and Regulation’ Textbook

Dr. Albulenë Kastrati, Fulbright Visting Scholar Program alumna (Duke University' 2019), has contributed to Kosovo's academic literature by publishing the ‘‘Banking Management and Regulation’’ textbook in Albanian. The textbook contains i) banking risks, ii) 30 financial reports explaining the accounting, and iii) regulatory framework in a local and international context.

Utilizing her research and teaching experience in the U.S., Professor Kastrati has provided students in Kosovo with an American-style textbook containing more than 83 illustrative examples.

Her research project conducted at Duke University as a Fulbright Scholar was published in the Prague Economic Papers journal, indexed on the Web of Science and Scopus databases.

In the meantime, Dr. Kastrati provides community contribution via two U.S. Embassy-funded projects: ‘Discover STEM for HER – Kosovo’ and ‘Mentoring Our Future’ aiming to build capacity and employment for Kosovo youth.''
