As part of the Fulbright Scholarship program, Albulena Kastrati had the opportunity to work and research the European emerging and transition economies at Duke University.

Recently her research work the ‘‘Paradox of Excess Liquidity in European Emerging and Transition Economies’' was turned into a journal paper at an internationally peer-reviewed journal 'Prague Economic Papers', which is indexed on Web of Science and Scopus.
