The Fulbright Faculty Development Program is Open for the 2025-26 Academic Year

We are pleased to announce that the Fulbright Faculty Development Program Competition for the 2025-26 Academic Year is now open.

The Fulbright Faculty Development Program is designed for faculty members currently teaching in Kosovo to travel to the United States for 5 months. The goal of the program is to introduce participants to best practices and theoretical approaches to curriculum development in the U.S. and provide them with concrete strategies on how to develop a curriculum for a course, including an overview of academic and research resources. Applicants will return to their position at their home institution upon completion of the program, continue their teaching responsibilities, and apply newly gained knowledge and experience. During the program, participants will be expected to research and develop a course description and syllabus and outline specific teaching strategies for their proposed course. Candidates interested in developing curriculum development expertise are encouraged to apply.

The 2025/26 online application for the Fulbright Faculty Development Program is now open and will be available until September 30, 2024.

To learn more about the program’s eligibility requirements and how to apply, please visit the Fulbright Faculty Development Program - U.S. Embassy in Kosovo (xk.usembassy.gov).

Prospective candidates should direct all questions to Program Coordinator Nora Nimani-Musa at nmusa@americancouncils.org or call +383 38 226 255.

This is a joint program of the U.S. Department of State and the Government of Kosovo.
